HEAH Independent Social Work & SEND Consultancy Ltd is the sister company to HEAH: Open Routes CIC. While the CIC focuses on learning and community provision, our consultancy strand delivers independent social work and SEND services across education, health, social care, and legal contexts.

Our flagship offer is Independent Family Reports, providing clear, professional, and trauma-informed evidence that supports families, schools, local authorities, solicitors, and community partners.

At HEAH, we carry out Independent Family Reports - holistic, trauma-informed assessments that give children and families a voice.

Too often, families are told they don’t meet statutory thresholds, or that “more evidence is needed” before support can be offered. Our assessments bridge that gap, providing clear, independent evidence that schools, local authorities, and other agencies can act upon.

Each assessment considers the child’s development, family circumstances, and wider environment, creating a full picture of need. We explore areas such as:

• Home life and parenting capacity
   
• Housing and living conditions
   
• SEND and access to services
   
• School attendance and education
   

Independent Family Reports start from £300, with a minimum of three visits included.  Travel is charged separately at standard rates and agreed in advance.  Reports are thorough, transparent, and written to professional standards, with a turnaround starting from 10 working days.  

• Delivered by a registered Independent Social Worker
   
• Fully DBS checked for safe practice

• Experienced SEN Teacher, supporting children and young people with additional needs, including autism
